Built by Tamsen Yachts in 2009, a distinguished Turkish shipard, M/Y GEMS II has been meticulously maintained since its inception until 2024, undergoing continuous maintenance and refit works both inside and out. In 2022, the yacht was equipped with new gyroscopic 0 speed stabilizers, significantly enhancing onboard comfort. In 2024, the 15 year RINA was due but unfortunately was never realised, the consequences of which were that GEMS II was not able to perform ay charters in 2024.
Stepping on board Gems II is an experience in itself; guests are immediately enveloped in a modern and inviting atmosphere, where they\'ll feel instantly at ease, with subtle touches of luxury enhancing the overall ambiance. Her masculine lines and grey hull turn heads in ports, cleverly concealing a beam of 8.6 meters, which creates a voluminous hull with a generous amount of space below deck.
GEMS II is now offered for sale in her current condition with a certain amount of work to be done by the buyer. The work mainly consists of the RINA requests to get GEMS II back in class.
M/Y GEMS II is a striking 40.5-metre tri-deck motor yacht delivered by Tamsen Yachts in 2009. With a powerful yet elegant profile, expansive interior volume, and thoughtful layout throughout, she offers a rare opportunity for those seeking a high-volume platform at an accessible price point. Built in composite with a GRP hull and superstructure, her design by the Tamsen in-house team showcases clean lines, an 8.6-metre beam, and extensive glazing that floods the interiors with natural light.

When it comes to fun on the water, she carries an excellent toy selection including a Williams 505 tender, Sea-Doo GTX 300, wakeboard, water skis, snorkelling gear, and inflatables. There is also ample storage and easy launching from the garage and platform.
It should be noted that GEMS II is currently out of class and cannot move under her own power from the dock. She will therefore require some technical and cosmetic updates to return to full operational status, particularly for commercial charter use. That said, her strong bones, unique layout, and timeless aesthetic offer significant value and potential for a new owner ready to invest in a refit.
With her foredeck jacuzzi, expansive 8.6m beam, dual VIPs, open-plan interiors, and stabilisers, GEMS II stands out as a yacht with real personality, comfort, and promise—ready to be brought back to her full glory.
