M/Y SEA BOLD is a custom-built, C Raymond Hunt-designed yacht built by New England Boatworks, delivered in 2003 with a major refit in 2019/2020. She was built in Kevlar and carbon fiber epoxy advanced composite construction. This created a lightweight super strong boat to operate at high speeds in demanding seas. She was designed with the famous Ray Hunt Deep V hull to be able to make high-speed runs to the Bahamas whenever her owner wanted to go. She has a high-speed cruise of 22 knots and a top end of 25 knots. Her gorgeous traditional New England profile, which includes a beautiful air-conditioned fully enclosed flybridge/pilothouse causes lots of other boat owners to admire her and ask many questions about her build and pedigree. She has never been chartered and is only used privately. She is in immaculate condition.
Sea Bold’s interior design is bright and open with continuous views from the aft salon door all the way to the forward windows over the owner’s office. The main deck includes a large, bright, open salon with a 50” HD TV, dry bar, and built-in refrigerator and wine cooler; a large dining area; buffet area; and raised office/library. The design is nautical and minimalist with beautiful custom woodwork. In the lower accommodations area, there are four staterooms - two queen staterooms and two with double twins in each room. The two queens have an opening/closing wall between them that can convert to a full-width Owner’s stateroom if desired. There are three ensuite heads.
The fully air-conditioned pilothouse, accessed from stairs in the salon, is a work of art. It includes a full navigation and electronics suite; three Stidd chairs; an office with a large chart table; a comfortable settee; a 43” HD TV; and a day head. Below forward is the full galley and the crew dinette/rest area. While easily operated with two crew, the crew area is quite large with accommodations for four crew, if desired, with two cabins with four beds and two ensuite crew heads.
Outside accommodations are wonderful. The entire yacht has wide side decks for easy access. There is a large swim platform for easy tender and water sports access. The Aft Deck has two separate seating areas. There is a settee and dining table with chairs in an area with small bulwarks and side doors around it. There is a BBQ and sink in this area. Behind this area is another seating area with chairs and tables under a custom awning. On the upper deck is a second outdoor dining area. A dining table with two settees is found here, as well as another refrigerator, freezer, and sink. There is also a 43” HD TV for outdoor viewing. When the tender is launched, there is an additional deck for more chairs and lounge chairs.
Starting aft is a built-in transom stairway that leads up from a six-foot swim platform. At the head of the stairway on the aft deck is a built-in locker designed for compressor and deck gear storage. Forward of the aft deck is a covered aft cockpit seating area with waist doors to the SEA BOLD side decks port and starboard, as well as access to the main salon through a glass-paneled swinging door. This area also features a BBQ grill and a full wet bar. The full walk-around side decks are painted with nonskid. The decks are protected by a low bulwark with a varnished teak cap rail and stainless stanchions topped by another varnished teak handrail which provides complete safety and comfort.
Upon entering the main salon, one will be impressed with the expansive volume and dramatic sightlines. There are large exterior glass windows, built-in teak, and leather settees port and starboard. Forward of the sitting area is a large central cabinet that houses a TV, bar, refrigerator, and chinaware for the formal dining table. To starboard is an open teak staircase that accesses the pilothouse above. The dining area is forward with a custom formal table seating eight guests. Forward to the dining area, there is a raised office/library. This is situated under the large multi-paneled glass windshield that provides light and visibility for the entire salon and dining area. The office/library is forward complete with a desk, chair table and a large buffet.
Midship, accommodations consist of four owner guest staterooms accessed by a companionway and foyer. The two aft staterooms are mirror images with athwartships walkaround queen berths, ensuite heads, and large stall showers. They serve as owner and VIP accommodations and are conjoining; these can be converted to a full-beam Owner’s stateroom if desired. The two forward staterooms have twin berths and share a large head and stall shower located off the port side of the central foyer. All guest staterooms have large satin finished teak armoire-styled closets and carpeted decks.
On the upper deck is a well laid out helm console with three comfortable Stidd seats, a large functional chart table, and a communication center/office. A day head to starboard allows the captain to never have to leave the pilothouse while underway. Aft of the wheelhouse is an outside seating banquet with bench seating and hardtop covered shade. To starboard is a sink/wet bar. There are storage boxes and storage for the Novurania tender. The tender and its chocks can be removed for an open flush deck area. A stainless steel and teak ladder provides exterior access to the aft deck.
Forward is the crew area and galley which is serviced by a forward companionway off the dining area. The crew staterooms consist of mirror-imaged oversized upper and lower berth staterooms, each has a separate head and showers. Both the galley and crew dinette are large and comfortable with a TV and a washer/dryer.
The aft deck is comprised of two separate seating areas with a settee, dining table, two custom awnings and two aft deck side doors.
The upper deck consists of a settee, dining table, sink, refrigerator, freezer and removable tender storage for lounging while at anchor.
