The Bluewater Photo Competition is an annual event in the world of luxury yachting and celebrates the beauty and reality of the superyacht industry. The competition began back in 2009 to showcase the yachting industry and what it has to offer and in 2025, the talent was outstanding. The entries were truly eye-catching and captured the essence of yachting.
After deliberation from the panel of judges, the winner of the 2025 photo and drone footage competition was determined.

This magnificent image on the Antarctic Peninsula captures one of the benefits of being a yacht crew member, “A Day in the Life” to remember. This spectacular scenery speaks for itself and will be embedded in the memory of Marlene and these fortunate crew members. For this adventurous crew, yachting opens up a whole new world of beauty.

"This photograph was taken on the Antarctic Peninsula in the Lemaire Channel. Yachting often takes you to places that very few are fortunate enough to travel to and let’s you experience things you couldn’t imagine in your wildest dreams. One such occasion brought us to the Lemaire Channel, at the end of February, as the sun started setting for the first time over the Peninsula. Where crew and guests alike, stood in awe of the sights ahead. Cruising through mirror calm waters, with the faint crackle of ice, you could easily get lost in the wonder of it all.
I am sure many of us in the industry have these moments or experiences where we think: "This is why I do it." Those moments that make all the late nights and the hard work worth it. To me, this was one of those moments."
This wonderful tribute to yachting in the South of France showcases the enchanting medieval village of Eze, clinging impressively to the mountainside above the sparkling Mediterranean sea. This magnificent backdrop is one of the most beautiful medieval villages on the French Riviera, perched 400m above sea level, offering spectacular fairytale views. The footage captures the thrill of gliding through pristine waters Bond style, the allure of a superyacht surrounded by stunning vistas.
