New course requirement

After the implementation of MLC 2006 on August 20th this year it will be necessary for ALL food-handlers to be certified in basic food safety. 'Food Handling' in this context also applies to those loading and storing the food as well as to those actually preparing and serving it; in other words practically everyone on board!
The Chartered Institute of Environmental Health are the certification body in the UK and we will be running a programme of basic hygiene courses this Autumn. Check out the training course page for more details and availability.
