Bluewater Raises €1500 For The Antibes Lifeboat

Another year, another wonderful Christmas carol concert! What a beautiful evening, with mulled wine, nibbles, magnificent voices and carol singing, the gathering of people, the Christmas atmosphere, set in our lovely cathedral of Antibes.

17 December 2014
The concert was held on the 5th of December and this year 150 adults with their children showed up. Every year we support the SNSM Antibes Lifeboat Service in organising the Christmas carol concert and this year was as great as ever!

We are very proud to say, as every year, our director John Wyborn sings in the choir. John has been a member of the Riviera International Singers for several years; they have weekly gatherings all year and sing in English, French and Latin.

Bluewater has been supporting the Antibes Lifeboat for over 4 years now, organising various events to generate awareness and funds to help to keep this service running.
The lifeboat is manned by volunteer crew, who give their time and risk their lives for no financial reward. They are on emergency call 24/7, 365 days of the year, and are always looking for donations, or equipment, no matter how large or small to aid them in emergencies and help them train. This year at the service we managed to raise a whopping 1500euro’s for the Antibes lifeboat!

Thank you everyone who helped out with the concert! We all need to give and help as much as we can, to keep the Antibes Lifeboat alive and in a position to save lives.

We wish you all a very Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year from all at bluewater!
