2025 United Nations Ocean Conference – Nice, France, 9-13 June 2025
This year, World Ocean Day coincides with the United Nations Ocean Conference in Nice, France. Co-hosted by France and Costa Rica, this year’s conference will be held in the town of Nice from June 9 to 13, 2025. The overarching theme of the conference is “Accelerating action and mobilising all actors to conserve and sustainably use the ocean.”
The conference will bring together Governments, the United Nations system, the Scientific community, international financial institutions, and academic institutions, all with the goal of conserving and sustainably using the oceans, seas and marine resources for sustainable development.
