Rotational position starting in October
The yacht will be transitioning to charter in October
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced candidate with a solid background in charter operations in the 60M range and a minimum of 10 years at sea
The position requires someone professional, adaptable, and capable of working closely with new yacht owners who are hands-on, active, and already experienced charter clients
The vessel will undergo a one-month maintenance period in Genoa before relocating to the Caribbean
The winter program includes Grenada, St. Vincent & the Grenadines, St. Barths, St. Martin, and the Bahamas
Summers may feature cruising in Scandinavia and other off-the-beaten-track destinations
Polar Code seen as an advantage but not essential
The successful candidate will demonstrate a calm, fair, and structured leadership style, prioritising crew wellbeing while leading by example
The ability to work directly with engaged owners, maintain trust and respect, and manage without ego will be key to success in this role
The owners are very active and highly involved in the yacht
They expect open communication and a Captain who can support their vision while maintaining professional standards
The interview process will begin with the current Captain, followed by meetings with the owners
Interviews are scheduled to start in mid-September
This is very much a position where personality matters as much as experience
The ideal candidate will be calm under pressure, strict but fair, honest, and trustworthy
Above all, the owners and crew seek a Captain who can foster a culture of respect and wellbeing onboard while ensuring smooth and successful charter operations
Yacht currently in Greece
Contract: Rotational (2 Months On : 2 Months Off)
