The Yachts That Make Pershing Great

The Pershing 140, the first all-aluminum superyacht, the biggest, most powerful and riskiest Pershing to date. A four-engine aluminum beast with jet drives and an unfolding beach club on three sides, a snub nose and an owner area located on the main deck. “Touch Me” was delivered in 2020 to an owner familiar with the brand as 20 years earlier had purchased the first Pershing 88 model and a few years later, the 115 model. The existing Pershing X range has launched the new 6X model, bold and defiant with top speeds of 47 knots. She comes as an addition to the 7X, 8X and 9X.

The Yard

Pershing was founded in 1981 by three Italian entrepreneurs who created the shipyard as Cantiere Navale dell’Ardriatico. In 1988 they integrated the Ferretti Group and collaborated with yacht designer Fulvio De Simone on the Pershing 45, their very first performance yacht. This was the launch of the Pershing luxury yacht range; taking its name from the Pershing missile, denoting its superior performance design concept and thus the brand continued to grow into what is today a well renowned luxury yacht builder.
