Dive Master - PADI

The Dive Master course is the first professional qualification in the PADI system.  It lays the foundations for going on to become an entry level Instructor and beyond, and is a relatively sought after qualification in the Yachting Industry.

You need to be in good physical shape, and we recommend getting in the pool and doing some swimming training beforehand.  The reading and theory element is not insignificant and we will organise getting the crewpack (course support materials) to you in good time.

Becoming a DiveMaster is a challenge and is great fun.  A highlight (but incomplete) list of course content includes:

• Developing professional level skill demonstrations
• Completing the testing “stamina” module
• Learning how to assist teaching students
• Mastering professional level dive theory
• Workshops on running Dive Master lead PADI courses and programmes

With Diamond Diving it is possible to do the course in ten days and they have two specific sessions scheduled per year.
