Initial Trip Deposit Date- Date if first payment towards trip
Destination- If multiple countries, list the first itinerary country

COVID-19- Am I covered?
On March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared Coronavirus (COVID-19) a pandemic. Therefore, any losses for trip cancellation, trip interruption and/or trip delay caused by or resulting from quarantine due to COVID-19 is not considered “Unforeseen” and will not be covered under the terms and conditions of most insurance policies.
However;
If you purchase Cancel for Any Reason (CFAR) coverage, you could be covered for a percentage of the loss, depending on the level of CFAR coverage purchased, and provided the trip is canceled more than 48 hours prior to the scheduled departure date.
Also;
If you contract COVID-19 prior to your departure, you could be covered for Trip Cancellation if there is a confirmed diagnosis, including proof of illness from your doctor that states you are medically unable to travel at the time of departure. If you become ill with COVID-19 while on a covered trip, you could be covered for Medical Expense and Trip Interruption/Curtailment benefits if there is a confirmed diagnosis, including proof of illness from a doctor.
Also;
A pandemic is not a typical ’unforeseen event’ and would not be covered under regular Trip Cancellation insurance. When a policy is created, there are only certain named perils (reasons) listed for each coverage type.
All coverages are subject to the terms and conditions of your specific insurance policy. This is why we suggest speaking to a Bluewater Expert about your options.

Coverage- Why should I get Travel Insurance?
One of the best reasons to buy travel insurance is to have peace of mind. Additionally, the coverages themselves are easy to utilize, and the protection of trip cancellation or CFAR pays you back in case of delay or emergency need for cancellation. These can reimburse you for prepaid, nonrefundable trip costs when you must cancel for a covered reason. When you get your money back, you can book your vacation for another, brighter day.
If you’re wondering “Should I buy travel insurance?” here are a few top reasons.
1. If you need to cancel your trip.
2. Sickness or injury before or during a trip.
3. Adverse weather and natural disasters.
4. Travel delays or interruptions.
5. Lost, stolen or delayed baggage.
You can plan the perfect trip but life happens to the best of us, when it does you can rest assured that you purchased Travel Insurance to protect yourself, your loved ones, and your investment.
