Some Delights of the Glamorous Mediterranean Coast

From the Michelin-star restaurants of Monte Carlo to the champagne-spraying beach clubs of Saint Tropez, a Côte d’Azur yacht charter promises all that glitters under the Mediterranean sun.  On charter in Monaco you can shop the haute couture boutiques of the Cercle d’Or, before heading to the spectacular Thermes Marins spa to be pampered. Michelin stars fall like rain in the Principality, where the hottest table in town is at the Hotel de Paris’ three-star restaurant, the Louis XV - Alain Ducasse. No visit to Monaco would be complete without a visit to the Casino de Monte Carlo, before finishing the night off at the iconic A-list nightclub, Jimmy’z.

As you cruise along the steep coast, you can drop anchor off the exclusive Cap Ferrat, where Paloma Beach Club sits pretty beneath its backdrop of villas and pines. Savour lunch with a view in the clifftop village of Eze, where the dining terrace of Château de la Chèvre d’Or perches thousands of feet above the cobalt-blue Mediterranean.

The grand old Italianate city of Nice and its superb art museums beg to be explored, before heading inland to the enchanting hilltop village of St Paul de Vence, where lunch must be taken at La Colombe d’Or among the original artworks by Picasso and Matisse.

Along the coast in Medieval Antibes, the Picasso Museum tower rises up from the ramparts against a backdrop of the distant Alps. Explore the colourful Provençal market with its tantalising smells and vibrant colours or dine at the iconic Hotel du Cap Eden Roc, where the summer lifestyle of the French Riviera was born in the 1920s and where celebrities swam in the cliff-carved pool.

Even by Superyacht, There is Not Enough Time to See Everything on One Trip

In Cannes, dock in the shadow of the Palais des Festivals, before adjourning to a sunbed at Zplage Beach Club with a glass of bubbles or Provencal rosé. Late afternoon is the time to shop the famed designer boutiques along the Croisette; Céline, Louis Vuitton, Hublot and Bulgari to name just a few. Dinner is at the gastronomic La Palme d’Or, before dancing until dawn at Balinese-themed Bâoli.

After a blissful recovery morning at the tranquil Cannes Islands, cruise down the coast past the red-rock coastline of the Esterel onboard your superyacht and into the famed Gulf of Saint Tropez, where Club 55 Beach Club awaits on Pampelonne Beach. Enter the port of St Tropez in the late afternoon, indulge in a night of hedonistic pleasure as you dine at the 3-Michelin-Star La Vague d’Or and party among a star-studded crowd at the renowned Les Caves du Roy.

Wake up anchored off Porquerolles, where turquoise seas and soft white sands await you for another day of bliss on your French Riviera yacht charter.
