The 2015 edition of the Dubai International Boat Show was a sensation before it even started. The announcement that the show will feature boats from over 800 of the top companies and present luxurious yachts and other boat-types worth over 250 million euro had every enthusiast on the edge of their seat. The new sectors of the event — Fishing Sailing and Watersports — achieved the same public reaction.

Thanks the first new sector, fishing enthusiasts who attended the event enjoyed fishing demonstrations and participated in a fun competition, while checking out the latest rods and equipment. And for those with a passion for sailing and water sports, this year’s Watersports sector offered a chance to try out windsurfing, canoeing and other sports.Due to the introduction of the sector, the interest in the sport boats increased compared to previous years and so did the sales.

Due to the increased interest in this year’s event, it was predicted that there would subsequently be a rise in sales in all of the different types of boats in the show — from superyachts to kayaks. Some companies even released statements of their exact expectations for the show.
The prediction of Al Shaali, CEO of Al Shaali Group, one of the biggest players in the superyachts scene was that by the end of the event the company will sell the impressive: at least three superyachts alongside around 7 medium sized boats. His expectations were accompanied by a brag about the company’s brand new dealership agreements. The agreement will bring the firm’s superyachts and boats to Europe and expand its Asian impact which increases the company’s share and reach. So did the event achieve the expectations of Shaali and the industry?
Yes, it did! The Dubai International Boat Show has got dibs on becoming the largest boat show in the world. With sales of over 4.5 million euro during just the first three days of the event, the 26,000 local and international visitors were clearly not there to window shop only.
Which Super Luxury Yachts for Sale Secured an Owner?
A range of boats were sold every single day.
The luxury Italian-made Fiart 47, estimated at 800,000 euros was sold by ART Marine. This leading yachting firms and manufacturer also boasted another piece of great news at the show — they introduced
Sub-Sea Limousines to the market. The fascinating submarines, estimated at around 1.5 million euro, are made with thick, spherical glass and are what superyacht owners dream of.
San Lorenzo Middle East confirmed the sales of the 24.45 meter SL 86 for the price of 5.6 million euro. What’s more, it seems like the SL 86 is one of the top sales picks, since ART Marine also managed to secure a sale of the same luxurious yacht.
Boat innovations were sold and discussed during the event.
Another worthy sale came from Delma Marine which managed to sell a Cabo yacht for around 1 million euro.
Rounding up the top sales from the event: A different range of boats, Sea-Doos and jet boats were the top picks from the event. As expected, kayaks were among the top-sellers due to their affordable price. Every single day of the event there was a number of boats sold from all different sizes and price ranges — from superboats to regular ones, in addition to smaller items. All that, making the Dubai International Boat Show a huge success for both the organizers and the visitors.

Its Australian manufacturer has managed to achieve greatness alongside luxury and style — it was approved in its entirety by the visitors of the Dubai International Boat Show.
