As Managing Sales Broker, David’s wealth of experience in all areas of yacht sales provides a leading example to the Fort Lauderdale Sales Team. He has clocked up an admirable 26 years of experience in selling yachts and boats of various sizes, types and builds. His passion for boats and watersports began at a tender age as David is fortunate enough to have grown up on the Great Lakes.
David’s professional career started in International Real Estate where his focus was on Sales and Marketing. Following a real estate project in Costa Rica, David returned to the United States to attend a friend’s wedding in Newport, RI. It was the summer of 1983 and The America’s Cup was in full momentum, it was at this point in his career that David made the decision to become part of the yachting scene. It was not until 10 years later that his dream finally became reality and David transitioned his Sales and Marketing skills to the yachting industry. Since then he has not looked back and has built up a multitude of global connections and has been united with some of the most renowned companies and boat builders within the yachting industry.
A member of the International Yacht Brokers Association (IYBA) and The International Superyacht Society (ISS), David is a licensed and insured ship and yacht broker.
