Stefan was born and raised in South Africa in a small coastal town called Margate (similar to south Florida just on a smaller scale). He served in the South African Air Force and volunteered as Ocean Rescue diver for the Natal Surf Lifesaving Association.

Stefan has lived in the U.S. for 23 years, mostly in North Carolina where he raised two children; Jack (21) and Simone (19). Jack lives in Wilmington, NC, just graduated college and is working in the yachting industry; Simone lives with him in Fort Lauderdale and has her own bikini business.

Stefan is the proud grandpa to Jack’s son Liam.

He is an ocean lover and spends most of his free time in or on the water; he attests that he is grateful to have found his slice of heaven in Fort Lauderdale
