After completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Design and Textiles at Otago University and working within a top design firm, Penny took to the seas.

With over 13 years’ experience as Purser and Chief Stewardess on high caliber Superyachts, both private and charter, Penny is thoroughly versed in all facets of Interior Operations and Guest Care.

In recent years Penny and her husband, Captain Mark Lacey, have focused on Project Management of New-Build Superyachts. Penny’s involvement has entailed all aspects of design and layout of the vessel, from the customized outfitting of all Interior Equipment and Crew Training to the set-up of interior working structures and practices.

After her various Project’s launch, Penny has acted as a shore-side support. Creating detailed yacht itineraries and organizing large customized events onboard for many V.I. P.’s including Royalty.
