The Riviera Cricket Club Celebrates 25 Years

The Riviera Cricket Club celebrated 25 years on Saturday, marked by a match between The President’s XI vs. Captain’s XI. Peter Bennett, Managing Director of Bluewater, was one of the founding members of the club to first introduce Cricket to South East France.

Over the years Peter has generously sponsored the club with a new pitch, a pavilion, tractor, and most recently 25th Anniversary shirts and caps. The Riviera Cricket Club primarily hosts teams from the UK, but also expatriate teams from around Europe to play on their beautifully prepared ground nestled in the hills above Grasse, just north of Cannes.
