Ibiza Ibiza is an island that truly celebrates celebrating.

This world-famous party island has a lot more to offer than just clubs. Yes, you can dance all night, and all day as well if you wish, however the white island offers so much more than its party island reputation. With a delicate blend of natural and historical riches, perfectly complimented by golden beaches and the warm waters of the Mediterranean, there is truly something unique about this island that makes it so special. Here you will find some of the best Spanish cuisine, served in the most idyllic of settings. Along the north coast of the island there are a string of lovely bays such as Cala Portinatx, giving those arriving by yacht the distinct advantage of the best views of Ibiza’s quietest beaches. Sure to be on the ‘do not miss’ list is the anchorage at the southernmost tip of Ibiza, where a slender strip of white sand extends to Formentera in aquamarine sea.

Sightseeing
Dalt Vila, literally 'high town', is a superbly preserved medieval town perched high above Ibiza Town and laced with tight alleyways, pretty squares and atmospheric bars and cafes. For a perfect example of the Balearics' sugar cube architecture take a ride up to Puig de Missa near Santa Eulalia. The views alone are worth the trip.

Day Trips
For a truly calm experience, raise the anchor and sail to the neighbouring island of Formentera. These beaches are some of Europe's best, and will provide you will a stunning overview of the whole island of Ibiza.

Sunset drinks
Ibizan sunsets are legendary, and to enjoy one of these there is no better place than Cotton Beach Club at Cala Tarida. Perched on the edge of a cliff and named for the 100% cottons that furnish every inch of the club; this white retreat promises complete relaxation with a private sandy beach and delicious food with two restaurants, one specializing in Mediterranean cuisine and the other, on the rooftop, offering fusion Asian fare. Enjoy one of the best sunsets around in a relaxed and understated party atmosphere.

Dining
Heart Ibiza is a landmark for those in search of an alternative dining experience. This 2,500 square metre restaurant and performance venue is the result of collaboration between Cirque du Soleil and Ferran and Albert Adria, the chef-brother partnership of elBulli fame. The venue is described as a laboratory where food, music and art come together. So sit back and enjoy the show.

Other restaurants to sample include Capella in San Antonio which offers stylish dining in a converted church, or try Bambuddha Restaurante in Santa Gertrudis where the ultra-cool come to lounge in sumptuous surroundings. Enjoy a romantic sundowner at the iconic Cafe del Mar, or if you prefer a more exclusive venue, the Eden Restaurant in San Miguel is perched atop 180m cliffs with fantastic sunset views.

After Dark
The island hosts some of the world's leading Dj's, for superclubs head to Ibiza town where you will find the formidable Pacha, El Divinio, San Antonio for Eden and Es Paradis. In Santa Eulalia, most of the bars are aimed at catering for families, and Puerto San Miguel for couples.

Be sure to head over to Ushuaia Beach Club and reserve a VIP box up above the crowd for a good spot of people watching.

Shopping
Shopping around the streets of Ibiza town offers a collection of unique boutiques and holiday fare. A little further afield in St Gertrudis you will find Schulz, a shopping mecca all in one place. Clothes, house furniture and furnishings, a gourmet food deli, strange artifacts, and beach gear; this really is the definition of a one stop shop.

Es Vedra
Be captivated by the mystical rock of Es Vedra, an Ibizan landmark seeped in mythology. Legends of sirens surround this rock known as the holy island of Tanit, the Phoenician goddess of fertility, where sacrifices were made in her honour. The landmark also boasts the name of the ’3rd most magnetic spot’ on the globe due to extremely high concentrations of metals and minerals in the rock island, thus creating a highly magnetic field that may disturb compasses in the surrounding area.
