Yachting In Action Courses

Our summer school programmes offer teenagers the invaluable opportunity to acquire essential yachting skills. From navigation to seamanship, our courses provide hands-on experience, meticulously preparing young enthusiasts for a promising career in the dynamic yachting industry.

During the course, participants will delve into a diverse array of skills, cultivating friendships while gaining actual maritime qualifications. This engaging and educational programme is available for varying durations: a one-week course in Palma and an enriching two-week course in Antibes.

Graduates not only walk away with tangible maritime certifications but also bolster their existing skill set, enhancing their CVs and brightening their career prospects. Included within this comprehensive curriculum are renowned certifications such as:

RYA Powerboat Level 2: Recognised across Europe, this certificate equips individuals with the skills to operate small craft like tenders and RIBS. Participants learn to confidently drive, control, and manoeuvre boats at speed, navigate using charts, handle emergencies like man overboard situations, and master marina parking techniques (not available in Palma).

Jet Ski Licence (RYA Personal Watercraft Certificate): Experience the exhilaration of zooming across the water under the expert guidance of our seasoned instructors. With this certification, graduates gain the ability to confidently hire and operate jet skis, impressing peers with their newfound skills (not available in Palma).

STCW Basic Safety Certificate: This intensive one-week yacht training course covers essential survival at sea techniques, firefighting, basic first aid, and more. It’s the gateway to a successful career in yachting, providing participants with the foundational knowledge and skills necessary to thrive in the industry.
