The 2010 ’Manilla’ amendments to the STCW convention introduced, for the first time, a requirement for management and leadership training for all ships’ officers. The operational level course focuses on the knowledge and skills needed to be an effective team member and team leader. Using a combination of lectures, case studies, group table-top exercises and practical problem solving tasks, students will learn how to prioritise tasks, motivate individuals and foster an effective team ethic. This Operational level certificate is required for tickets up to OOW and for Y4 and Y3 engineers. If you are only re-validating your CoC you do not need to do this course, however if you are moving up to the next level ticket you (e.g. from Master 200gt to OOW) you will be required to take the course if you haven’t already done so.

This course is fully redeemable with your ONE Account training vouchers.
