Master 100 Tons

Written examinations will be given following the classroom presentation of the subjects. The examinations will consist of randomly selected questions from the U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Marine Questions Publications, and will deal with the appropriate subject level for the given licensing level. Examinations: • Navigation Rules • Deck and General Safety Navigation • General 100 Ton Master Chart Work The final grade determination for this course will be the satisfactory completion of the exams required for the issuance of a Merchant Marine Officers License. An appropriate completion certificate will be issued to the student to verify that the examination requirements have been met and may be presented to the U.S. Coast Guard Regional Exam Center.
