Bluewater is working with Onshore Cellars and Chateau Clarettes to bring you a Wine Workshop.

By Sarah Smith-Garrison • 29 March 2018

Strictly by Invitation

This event will be hosted at Onshore Cellars' beautiful studio in the heart of Antibes. Their expert sommelier, Rosie Clarkson, will be on hand to give advice on how to taste wines and the proper tasting etiquette, including spitting!

Chateau Clarettes

Chateau Clarettes are sponsoring the event and bringing a selection of their wines for us to taste. Their onsite wine maker, Eric Guilleré will also be with us to talk through the wines they produce.

Chateau Clarettes is located near the medieval city of Les Arcs sur Argens in Provence, this picturesque vineyard enjoys perfect surroundings for wine production and has been producing wines since the 1950s.

They produce around 75,000 bottles of wine every year. They have heavily invested in the vineyard to ensure they cultivate the wines in an environmentally friendly manner, and harvesting is performed exclusively between 4am and 8am to preserve flavours and to limit the grape juice oxidation, so the wines develop at their best and achieve the highest possible quality.

Riedel Crystal Glassware

In addition to this we have Riedel Crystal Glassware giving an interactive masterclass, showing the importance of serving the correct wine in the correct glassware. The Managing Director of Riedel France, Philippe Guillon, will be giving this insightful presentation.
