RYA Yachtmaster Offshore
• 50 days at sea
• 2500 miles at sea (half must be tidal)
• 5 passages over 60 miles (including 2 as skipper and 2 overnight)
• RYA Yachtmaster Offshore Theory
• RYA Yachtmaster Offshore Practical (COC)
• VHF (ROC or SRC)
• First Aid Certificate (STCW95 is OK)
• For Commercial Endorsement:  1 day Sea Survival (STCW95 is OK) and ML5/ENG1 Medical Fitness Certificate

MASTER 200gt Coastal STCW95
• + 19 years of age
• STCW95 Basic Crew Training
• ENG1 Medical Fitness Certificate.
• RYA Yachtmaster Offshore (commercially endorsed)
• GMDSS(ROC)
• MCA Oral Exam

MASTER 200gt Unlimited STCW95
• +19 years of age
• STCW95 Basic Crew Training
• ENG1 Medical Fitness Certificate.
• RYA Yachtmaster Ocean (commercially endorsed)
• GMDSS(GOC)
• MCA Oral Exam

OFFICER OF THE WATCH
• + 19 years of age
• ENG1 Medical Fitness Certificate
• 3 years yacht time and 1 years seatime – made up of 265 days at sea, and the rest yard time, stand by time and watch time
• STCW95 Basic Training
• Training Record Book
• Yacht Master Offshore Commercially Endorsed
• GMDSS – GOC
• OOW Navigation and Radar
• Advanced Sea Survival
• General Ship Knowledge
• MCA Oral Exam (Training Record Book must be presented to Examiner)

CHIEF MATE
• Hold the OOW Certificate
• Valid ENG1 Medical Fitness Certificate
• Advanced Fire
• Medical First Aid
• Yacht Master Ocean – Shore-based
• Yacht Master Ocean – COC

MASTER 500gt
• +21 years of age
• Valid ENG1 Medical Fitness Certificate
• 12 months service as bridge watch keeper on vessels >15m (load line length) whilst holding OOW cert.
• Meet requirements for Chief Mate
• Medical Care Certificate
• Seamanship and Meteorology Certificate
• Stability Certificate
• Business and Law Certificate
• Navigation, ARPA and Navigation and Radar Certificate
• MCA Oral Exam

MASTER 3000gt
• +23 years of age
• Valid ENG1 Medical Fitness Certificate
• 2 years as OOW on yachts over 15m – holding the OOW qualification
• Chief Mate certificate
• Hold all the modules for Master 500gt
• MCA Oral Exam

SEA TIME
Sea Time is considered as time signed onto an official crew list. To prove this you will need to show either a testimonial or a fully audited PYA Service Record Book.
