    In 2006 the MLC (Marine Labor Convention) proposed legislation mandating the certification of all chefs, food handlers and interior crew. With one month behind us since the August deadline, it is estimated that over 50% of these crew have invalid or expired qualifications. The rush to certification is creating a buzz of activity within the industry
