Akula - Available For Viewings In Genoa

Akula is a wonderful example of a great conversion from her working days as a Dutch Pilot vessel to a true world cruising explorer vessel. This luxury vessel's sophisticated exterior design and engineering are the work of Amels. She was last refitted in 1999.

Akula is able to travel to the remotest corners of the earth having already visited the Canadian Artic, Alaska and Greenland. Part of what makes Akula such an ideal vessel for this sort of remote environment is her helicopter allowing for Heli-hiking. The helicopter’s ability to drop you onto a glacier or at the foot of a challenging peak far inland is an excellent way to experience nature in the raw. In addition her ancillary vehicles (ATV's)and tenders afford the ability to get ashore and travel on shore where docks, harbours and pontoons are in short supply.

Built to high safety standards, MY Akula travels enormous distance and withstands tough weather conditions ready to take adventurous guests to the waters of the Amazon and Antarctica.
