The RYA Personal Watercraft certificate is available to everyone over 16 years old of all nationalities. It is issued after a one-day course, partly in the classroom and partly at sea.
Because the Maritime Authorities are becoming more and more demanding about licenses for Personal Watercrafts, this course is ideal for deckhands on large yachts and possibly for charter guests.
You will learn: Basic collision avoidance, basic navigation, emergency procedures, safety equipment, PWC types, launching/slipping PWCs. Practical PWC operation including slow and high speed manoeuvring, turning and emergency stops.
