I had no idea what to do with my degree in Latin and Ancient Greek after finishing uni, so after a year of traveling and half-heartedly looking for positions in corporate UK, I did what any sensible girl would do and ran away to sea!

Four years at sea was enough for me, it was time to get a bit more normality and settle down and Mallorca seemed to be the place for me and I’ve been with Bluewater Palma ever since. My first role in 2007 was setting up the crew placement department here in Palma, I am now settled as a Training Manager, it combines organization and people so suits me down to the ground.

Best part about my day: meeting so many great people in the industry who pass through our doors!
