Hidden Gems in Cannes

During your time at the Cannes Yachting Festival, make sure to take time out and enjoy the many gastronomic delights available in this unique town.
After visiting the show, stop off at Cave Riviera to start your evening. This is a real local hangout hidden down a side street off the main shopping strip Rue d’Antibes, with a friendly and knowledgeable sommelier. If they don’t have it it’s probably not worth drinking!

If you want to head off the beaten track then why not head to La Table du Chef, a very traditional French restaurant away from the hustle and bustle of the Croisette, or to Le Tube, the best venue in town if you want to sample fresh, local produce whilst enjoying the work of artists from the region. Both restaurants are usually full of locals and booking is essential.

If you prefer to be entertained during your meal, try Le Salon des Independents; a unique experience where a fun evening is guaranteed in this quirky establishment located at the top of Le Suquet. On your way there, see if you can find Le Jardin des Secrets, a cosy little bar hidden down one of the side streets with a beautiful terrace on the other side.

If you’re looking for a meal with a view, head to the village of Vieux Cannet; here you’ll find several restaurants sharing a large terrace and offering beautiful views across Cannes. For something closer to the action, the Radisson Blu has the aptly named 360° restaurant overlooking the old port of Cannes, serving decadent dishes whilst you enjoy the exquisite views.

Bluewater yachts at the Cannes Yachting Festival

Bluewater is exhibiting four yachts at the 2015 Cannes Yachting Festival. Make sure you come and say hello to the bluewater team in Port Canto, berth CANTO019.
QUID PRO QUO is a truly beautiful yacht with modern, bright and inviting spaces. This contemporary 30m Benetti offers sumptuous accommodation and a fantastic AV system including home cinema entertainment.
PRINCESS ELENA has great volume, giving her the feeling of a much larger yacht. With a full beam saloon and generous deck spaces, she has great areas for entertaining family and friends. Immaculately maintained and with VAT paid, viewings are highly recommended.
LIBERTY CALL is new to the market and a newly delivered Benetti Delfino. MCA compliant, she has a sophisticated, neutral interior by Carlo Galeazzi accommodating up to 12 guests in five cabins. With her large beam she ensures total comfort below deck.
Bluewater would be delighted to provide you with further information on any of the boats in the show. In 2014, the Cannes Yachting Festival had 550 yachts of which 500 were new builds, with 115 sail boats as well as 93 world premieres. Call bluewater today if you would like to attend the show and we look forward to welcoming you onboard.
