The port Portosole in Sanremo is a popular marina with berths ranging up to 90m in length. Sanremo is located approximately half an hour away from the Cote d’Azur and Monaco and you can access the historic town from the Port. Portosole is a popular destination of choice for many mega yachts and private luxury charters. It is one of the largest and most prestigious tourist ports in the whole of the Mediterranean and represents a regular base for several mega yachts, both privately-owned and for charter.

A variety of shops and businesses - two important shipyards, a boat repair workshop, a brokerage centre, nautical agencies, a ship chandler, a selection of qualified outlets for on-board electronics and boat upholstery as well as a dedicated upholstery services specifically devised for boats.

Bars, restaurants and local boutiques are located in town, with a shopping arcade and a 5 star luxury hotel currently under development.

Sanremo has a popular market twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Portosole also houses the Istituto Tethys, an association founded in 1986 and committed to studying cetaceans in the Mediterranean and promoting the implementation of conservation activities to protect Mediterranean biodiversity.
